The latest direct observation, conducted during the third week of February 2020, revealed positive indicators for this breeding season. The Pelican Islands appeared inhabited by the Dalmatian Pelicans with the number of breeders increasing every day. All three sub-breeding beds built by the end of December 2019 are occupied by breeding pairs.
