Last weekend, on October 18, AOS organized a study visit to the area around Scadar Lake , with the main purpose of recognition of the terrain and identification of eco-tourism potential in the area. Despite landscape aspect and attractive points, importance was given to the assessment of fauna. The monitoring showed that the number of water birds was nearly 10,000 individuals notably roosting sites of hundreds Pygmy cormorants and some individuals of Dalmatian Pelican.
This visit was organized in the framework of project “Development of the Birdwatching Tourism Product in Shkoder area”, funded by RisiAlbania.
