The Dalmatian Pelicans (Pelecanus crispus) have started laying eggs and brooding their clutches in Divjaka-Karavasta National Park. Exactly over the beds prepared at the beginning of 2018 by the Administration of Protected Areas – Fieri Region, local communities and AOS. Over 80 individuals were present in the nesting site while other individuals are preparing to nest very soon. We hope that even this breeding season results positive, with many other new families and many more pullis that manage again to fly majestically in Divjaka-Karavasta National Park and more other wetland areas of Albania and western Balkans. The Dalmatian Pelican, a yesterday threatened species. Today, a species in recovery!
