Unlike the majority of countries from the region, where the poisoning and incidents of suspected poisoning related to vulture mortality are relatively well documented, drivers for poison use and substances used identified, Albania has no official records related to wildlife poisoning. In this aspect, a dedicated team of Albanian Ornithological Society (AOS) has been engaged in filling the gaps on the data of wildlife poisoning in Albania, specifically in the use of poison baits against wildlife, the driving factors, as well as its consequences.
We would like to invite you to fill out the survey/questionnaire, to share your insights, experiences, and information that you have encountered related to wildlife poisoning in Albania. This questionnaire aims to get information on wildlife poisoning in Albania and to identify the root causes and consequences of this phenomenon.
Your contribution will help us to have an even more clear panorama of this hidden crime!
This questionnaire is compiled by the Albanian Ornithological Society (AOS) in the frame of “Anti-Poisoning on Wildlife in Albania” project, supported by the Vulture Conservation Foundation (VCF) and MAVA Foundation. This questionnaire aims to get information on wildlife poisoning in Albania and to identify the root causes and consequences of this phenomenon.
