The weekend of BirdID 2020 Albania, was organized in two full days in the majestic landscape of Shkodra where the observations of our students, covered the area of Vau i Dejes, Shkodra lake, Pentari plain, Domni marsh and the riparian forest of Velipoja.

- Thousands of wintering waterbirds (Coots, Gulls, Cormorants etc)

- Four species of woodpeckers in the riparian forest of Velipoja: Black Woodpecker (๐๐ณ๐บ๐ฐ๐ค๐ฐ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ด ๐ฎ๐ข๐ณ๐ต๐ช๐ถ๐ด), Green Woodpecker (๐๐ช๐ค๐ถ๐ด ๐ท๐ช๐ณ๐ช๐ฅ๐ช๐ด), Great Spotted Woodpecker (๐๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ฅ๐ณ๐ฐ๐ค๐ฐ๐ฑ๐ฐ๐ด ๐ฎ๐ข๐ซ๐ฐ๐ณ) and Lesser Spotted Woodpecker (๐๐ณ๐บ๐ฐ๐ฃ๐ข๐ต๐ฆ๐ด ๐ฎ๐ช๐ฏ๐ฐ๐ณ)

The birdwatching, discussions, jokes, songs, and the good sense of humor were some of the elements which made more enjoyable this BirdID trip north of Albania. AOS is happy for this wonderful group of people with different backgrounds, different interests joined by the passion for nature.
